The AICS (Association of Italian Culture Sport) was founded in 1962 as a national body to promote sports. Over the years, the range extends to the areas of culture, social policy, the third sector, tourism, the environment, civil protection and training. The AICS is recognized by the Olympic Committee as the National Sports Promotion Board, Ministry of Interior as an institution with charitable purposes, the Ministry of Labour as Social Promotion Board and the Ministry of Social Solidarity for the activity in favor of immigrants. It 'an agreement with the Ministry of Justice for the prevention of youth problems and social reintegration. And 'recognized by the Department of Civil Protection at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers which volunteer organization.
