Reflections for each day of the year.
At the top of each dated page is a quote from Bill W. in Alcoholics Anonymous, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, A.A. Comes of Age, As Bill Sees It and Bill's Best; from Dr. Bob in Dr. Bob and The Good Veterans; and other Conference approved literature. +
Following each quote is a personal reflection on it by an A.A. member. A request that was made to the entire A.A. produced more than 1,300 propositions. Members of A.A. who made the selected propositions are not professional writers and naturally speak not for the Fellowship but for themselves - an A.A. addresses his words to other A.A. members
As a result of these collaborations, the entire book focuses on our Three Legacies of Recovery, Unity and Service; and you agree to our Preamble, which states that "A.A. is not affiliated with any religious sect, political party, organization, or institution."
Bill W. wrote in the foreword to As Bill Sees It, that he hoped his writings could "become an aid to individual meditation, and a stimulus for group discussion, and... Even guide a larger one. reading all of our reading. " We cannot find a more appropriate word to serve as an introduction to this book of Daily Reflections.
