AC/DC was founded in 1973 by brothers Angus Young and Malcolm Young (guitarist). The two brothers managed to get several names to fill their band, namely Larry Van Kriedt (Bassis), Dave Evans (Vocalist) and Colin Burgess (Drummer).

Over the course of several months, it turned out that the Young brothers were still not satisfied with the members they had, until finally there was a reshuffle of players. Bon Scott was present as vocalist to replace Dave Evans, Phil Rudd replaced Collin Burgess as drummer and Mark Evans on Bass replaced Larry.

The presence of AC/DC in the world of Hard Rock music is well known. This is proven by the albums that they managed to release, one of which is 'High Voltage'. Even until mid-1976, AC/DC managed to tour several countries, such as England, America and Australia.

Personnel reshuffle began to occur in 1977 where the bassist Mark Evans decided to leave AC/DC and was replaced by Cliff Williams. The entry of Cliff Williams turned out to be increasingly making the name AC/DC known in the world music scene, where one of their albums that is still phenomenal to date is 'Highway to Hell' in 1978.

Sad news came in 1980, where the vocalist who had begun to be known as one of the best vocalists in the world of Hard Rock, was reported to have died. AC/DC also recruited a new name, namely Brian Johnson, to replace Bon Scott.

Another album that also catapulted AC/DC's name in the music world was the album 'Back in Black' in 1980. This album was deliberately made as a dedication to the memory of its former vocalist, Bon Scott. This album managed to sell as many as 42 thousand copies, and the amount of that was a very impressive achievement at that time.
