Buddybet is a social platform that allows you to place handshake bets against your friends, family and colleagues. From sports, TV shows, music and social topics, on Buddybet you can challenge your friends on just about anything! With no money exchanged, you play Buddybet for social validation, banter, bragging rights and to hold your buddies accountable. Buddybet is a free-to-play social application designed to be fun and entertaining.

Buddybet’s homepage consists of people’s handshake bets and the comments, likes and social engagement that flows from each handshake bet.
Create Handshake Bet
This functionality allows you to create your own, unique handshake bet (non-monetary).
When creating your handshake bet (non-monetary), you must:
- select your opponent(s) or create an “Open” handshake bet which will be available for anyone in the network to accept;
- Select the category and/or event you wish to handshake bet on;
- Draft your handshake bet; and
- select “Place Bet”.
The handshake bet will then be sent to your selected opponent(s) or, if it is an "Open" bet, will be available to accept via the homepage.
Discover
This functionality allows you to explore the wide range of categories and content available within the app.
Profile Page
Your Profile Page allows you to upload a profile picture, personalize your bio and will be the landing page where your friend's view and interact with all handshake bets you have entered into.
Chat
Like most social apps, you can interact with your friends via a private chat on Buddybet
