DQ is the mobile application of dqworld.net portal, and DQ World is a world leading online education platform to teach children ages 8-12 the 8 Digital Citizenship Skills. It empowers them to become informed and discerning digital citizens. There are educational animations, quizes and games for the children and their parents, and it aims to protect children against threats in the digital world while preparing them for the new world. It uses pedological methods and contents created by worldwide experts and it is represented by a non-profit organization.
DQ app and the DQ World portal itself is completely free and accessible all around the world, without any fees. There are no payments or paid services involved in the app.
DQ World Pte. Ltd. is a social enterprise that was spun off from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and infollutionZERO, South Korea.
Its mission is to provide innovative, research-backed educational tools that help children unlock their potential with core skills and values for the digital age.
It also functions as the secretariat for the DQ Coalition with the aim of reaching out to as many children as possible by collaborating with partners from across the world. With a social mission at heart, the majority of profits generated from the company proceeds will be used to support local and global outreach efforts for family, schools, and DQ research.
