This app is an effort from us, to throw some light on some of the customs and traditions that is part of a typical Tamizh Brahmin Wedding. Most of us are probably accustomed to these traditions, some of us would have witnessed these in weddings of friends and family, but chances are that your understanding about these traditions is not complete. We made an effort to consult several scholars to understand what these traditions mean and have attempted to give a lay-man explanation of the same here. For some of the rituals, you will also see an accurate translation of mantras recited in Sanskrit. These translations are taken from several textbooks authored by several accomplished and acclaimed scholars and published at-least more than a century ago. From our understanding this is a first of its kind effort, and we hope this will further motivate and promote more people to pursue a similar effort in the future
