Eid Al-Adha Wishes Text and Images.
Bakr-Id or Eid Al-Adhais the ‘Feast of Sacrifice’. It is the second most important festival celebrated by the Islamic community. This year, the calendar lists Bakr-Id on July 21, 2021. Usually many states of India celebrate this festival a day later than in Saudi Arabia. Hence in 2020, Bakr-id will be observed in many places in India on August 1. The Sacrifice Feast festival commemorates the great faith and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim.
Prophet Ibrahim was asked to sacrifice the dearest thing to him. In obedience, Ibrahim decided to sacrifice his own son. But before he could do that, Allah provided a goat for sacrifice instead. Hence the practice of sacrificing a male goat on this day continues. The sacrificed goat is divided into three parts to be distributed for relatives and friends, poor people, and the family. Bakr-id is a day to rejoice this faith and is celebrated by sharing delicious meals with near and dear ones.
Happy Eid al-Adha Bakr-id wishes, messages and quotes.
