First Census of Water Bodies for both Rural and Urban areas is to be conducted by Mobile App to capture Latitude and Longitude along with photograph of each Water Body. Water Bodies has been defined as ‘All natural or man-made units bounded on all sides with some or no masonry work used for storing water for irrigation or other purposes’ will be treated as Water bodies in this Census. The type of Water Bodies included Ponds, Tanks, Lakes, Reservoirs and Water conservation Structures. App is developed for Android OS only.
