Web/mobile communication, curriculum and homework app for students and parents
Push notifications instantly prompt students and parents to read their appointments, messages and home learning tasks. This feature only operates during sociable hours (7.00am – 8.00pm). Notifications out side of these hours will be queued for delivery after 7.00am.
2-way chat is enabled by the teacher sending the message. By default, all messages sent by teachers are 1-way. Users will receive relevant target group messages and individual messages from their school.
Students must rate the difficulty of their home learning tasks. Students can upload homework tasks using Milk app, including photos taken on their devices for written school work.
File attachments can either be printed directly from within the app or downloaded to the users device and printed using the relevant application.
All users can register their email address in 'settings' allowing them to use their email address in place of their Milk ID when logging in to Milk app. Registering an email address in Milk also enables password resets by the user.
Milk app users can remain logged in for a maximum of 90 days before they will be automatically signed out.
Student Attendance, Achievement, Behaviour and Subject Progress data is imported and updated daily from the school's management information system.
Students can download Subject Progress reports from Milk app.
Milk supports 1-week and 2-week timetables.
