Motorcycle manufacturers are incorporating on-board diagnostics similar to OBD2. MotoristaDx is an app built for DYI bike enthusiasts that want to continue working on their bikes despite the increase in the on-board electronics. The goal is to give the user all of the information needed to troubleshoot issues on the bike by displaying live data, codes and component activation.
MotoristaDx is an easy to use diagnostic interface that uses a Bluetooth adapter to connect to all of the ECUs on the bike. The app is capable of performing all of the functions that a scan tool can do. Which allows you to save money by fixing issues yourself. You’ll have access to dealership level diagnostics!
Supported motorcycles:
All Yamaha models equipped with 4 or 6 pin diagnostic port up to 2023.
Supported Bluetooth Devices:
OBDLink CX (Bluetooth low energy)
OBDLink MX+ (Bluetooth classic)
