Muse has released seven recording albums, starting with Showbiz (1999), Origin of Symmetry (2001), Absolution (2003), Black Holes & Revelations (2006), The Resistance (2009), The 2nd Law (2012), and Drones ( 2015). Muse also released four live albums Hullabaloo Soundtrack (2002), Absolution Tour (2005) HAARP (2008), and Live at Rome Olympic Stadium (2013).
Black Holes and Revelations received a Mercury Prize nomination and was dubbed the third best album of 2006 by NME Albums of the Year. Survival is a Muse song that became the official song at the London 2012 Olympics. Throughout his career, Muse has won numerous awards including five MTV Europe Music Awards, six Q Awards, eight NME Awards, two Brit Awards-won the Best British Live Act twice, one MTV Video Music Award, four Kerrang! Awards and one American Music Award. They also won the Grammy Awards Best Rock Album category for The Resistance and Drones
