New Town Comics is a comic book publisher with the aim of creating indigenous graphic novels contents for readers; based on relatable details... for example their location, their experience and from their mode of interactions; which includes their language, jargons as well as their interests.
Comic book content has always been provided by writers and illustrators from a perspective related to their experiences... the likes of Marvel and D.C. have ruled the industry for generations.
However, where they fall short is where *New Town Comics* wishes to capitalize on. Many, like myself, grew up reading their contents for years and with the emergence of the social media phenomenon we are even exposed to them more than ever; but for most their content; though they count on patronage not only from readers within their countries of operations but also readers across the world; they don't necessarily have content material or to be more specific Characters that carry the same clout as the well known; Spider man, Batman, Superman and the many others that can be listed; emerging from the countries in which they have readers present.
As to say... you have to accept what they give you. The vision of *New Town Comics* is to write content and develop characters from other countries for these countries... Characters they can root for in the coming time as we build this franchise and in so moving away from the tendency of only force feeding characters from creators who can't understand the experiences of the readers from these other nations...
There is a famous quote... "Anyone can be a hero" at New Town Comics we believe: Heroes can come from anywhere... be it a third world country, developing country or developed country... being a hero is aspired by all and we want to hammer this point by making this platform inclusive for all those who wish to see Heroes emerge from other parts of the world.
