The ePOD application is aimed at Logistic Service Providers (or “carriers”) contracted by Philips to transport goods on Philip’s behalf. It supports the carrier staff in the process of the collection and submission of Information of Delivery (IOD) and Proof of Delivery (ePOD) electronically. The application eliminates manual processing of IOD and ePOD information and supports timely reporting of transportation milestone data, fulfilling the objective of reporting transportation milestones within 6 hours after the event took place.
