Data held by the police is publicly available on data.police.uk. However, for the average person, this data is tedious and time consuming to sift through and find what you are looking for. This data held by the police should be easily readable as it is accessible, and that is the main aim of this app.
The app includes the following features:
Map view with crime data marked
Crime statistics with crime category filter
Filter data based on month and year
Location search in the whole of the UK with crime markers
Google street view when selecting marker at crime location
Pull up bar showing crimes occurring at a certain marker
Set your police force and find the senior officers in your area - not all police forces have updated this information.

Please note that although data is visualised in an easy to read form, not all Police Authorities have uploaded their data to the same standards. Therefore you may see a lot of information from one police force, but very little from another. This is not the fault of the app, but a query to solve for the police force in question. Please contact the relevant police force if you have any queries as to why the data is not available. This includes, crime statistics including their location, report id's, police force senior officer information.
