A colossal and enigmatic alien structure has appeared in orbit around the earth, leaving the whole world dumbfounded; humanity has given it the name of Metahedron. The SCAR team, made up of scientists and engineers, is sent to study it.
Things don't go as planned, and the Metahedron teleports the team through space to a mysterious planet outside our star system. You play as Dr. Kate Ward, one of the members of the SCAR team, and you wake up alone and lost in a strange and hostile environment.
