UDP broadcast your text messages to be displayed on your computer screen.
Textcast will allow you to view text messages directly on your computer screen. It uses the Textcast app along with the software to run on your computer. The Android application broadcasts your text messages over UDP in your network over a specific port which in turn will be received by the software running on your computer.
Make sure to check Textsend (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bouweceunen.textsend) to send text messages from your computer in that way you wont need to touch your phone to send and receive text messages!
Go to https://github.com/BouweCeunen/text_cast for the UDP server for macOS, Windows and Linux. Your phone and computer must be connected to the same network when your text message arrives.
