Greetings and Peace,
My name is Tasneem and welcome to my inspirational outlet. I am first and foremost a mum to 4 beautiful kids, owner of a beauty and aesthetic clinic, makeup artist, and hijab stylist. I have an uncanny passion (my better half calls it a sick obsession, pssht), for shoes, clothing, accessories and scarves…In other words the wants and needs of every female being out there. I love experimenting with colours and styles depending on my mood, the latest trends and, well… the weather.
I hope to, through this blog, inspire, share and reach out to my readers who like me share a common passion for fashion, style, make up, wellness and flare. My blog will serve as a platform for turban hijab tutorials, outfit inspirations, what’s new and trending, the go to SALES and occasional product reviews.
Being a makeup artist and hijab stylist allows me to create master pieces on the gorgeous canvas of women that I interact with and work on, on a daily basis. Whether it’s assessing or treating the skin, doing a makeover or hijab styling. I reap extreme satisfaction when my clients leave happy and confident.
So if ever you are in a wardrobe or hijab style dilemma, I am your go to girl for tips and advice on how to create a look that screams ‘hayaachic’ – modest and chique????
Now, as we are almost half way through this Mubarak month of Ramadan. I thought I would do a quick turban hijab tutorials of my signature turban look which I have sort of embraced and made my own!! If u have any queries or interested in hosting workshops or in need of a one on one styling/hijab session, please don’t hesitate do get in touch.
Step 1
Always ensure that your base is secure and in place! For the base you will need a volumiser and a soft cotton under cap, (I always tie my hair into a pony at the back of my head then clip/tie my volumiser around the ponytail.
Step 2
Place the scarf at the back of your head and bring forward the 2 sides/end pieces. Now cross the two sides over each other (This particular turban style is best done with a long rectangular cotton scarf)
Step 3
Start wrapping the 2 ends around your head, start with one end, and depending on the length of the scarf, wrap it around as many times as it can go around your head. Do the same with the other end. Tuck it as and where it makes sense or looks just perfect.
Step 4
Adjust the scarf around your face, till you feel confident enough that you rocking your look!
