Volusha - News Reader connects hundreds of news resources into one app and brings you the latest news updates. With the app's text to speech technology, it can read any news article or even news headlines with a press of a button. With Volusha, you no longer have to wait for a free time to sit and read a news paper or watch the TV, instead you can listen to the app reading news while being busy on your work.

Volusha app also supports news from almost every country. If you want to check news from another country all you have to do is select the country from the search bar and wait for the news to load. This is ideal for the diasporas living abroad.

- Read Local News:

Based on the country you are registered, Volusha will collect news from local resources, so you know what is happening around you. If you are from U.S, Volusha will present you news from `The New York Times`, `The Wall Street Journal`, `The Washinton Post` etc. If you are from India, Volusha will give you news from `Times of India`, `Hindustan Times`, `NDTV` etc. When you open the app, the default news you see are the local news.


- Read local news of another country

Simply select the name of the country from the search bar and wait for the news to load.


- Read News from Topics:

If you are interested in listening to news from specific news topics like Technology, Sports, Entertainment etc, Volusha "Library" section can help you. The "Library" section brings news from various topics, regardless of the country of the news resource. Following categories are supported in Volusha.

- How to listen to News?

It is simple. If you want to listen to news headlines, open the app (and go to Library and select a category, if you want news from Topics) and wait till the news get loaded. By default, 5 news items will be loaded, you can scroll down to load more. Then press the “Read News Headlines” button at the top.

If you want to listen to an article, click on the news item to open the article web page inside the app, then click the speaker button. The app will first go through the news article, you will see a pink colour notification at the bottom of the app until it completes the process. After this, the app will speak the news.

When the app is speaking news, you can stop it anytime by clicking the Stop button.


- Advance News Reading

Volusha can read and speak any long article. When reading news articles, the app will try its best to eliminate advertising text and other unwanted data from the news web page so it can read you only the news.
