High quality noise generator for sleeping, meditation, studying or just relaxing
White Noise Generator generates custom colour noises including white, pink, brown, blue, and violet.
White Noise Generator also helps to create sine wave audio.
???? Audio Noise Generator
Generates white, pink, brown, blue, and violet colours noise.
Customize noise further by selecting the amplitude, duration you want, channel and sample rate.
Supported sample rate 48000, 44100, 32000, 22050, 11025, 8000.
???? Audio Wave Generator
Generates sine tone waveforms.
Sine: A mathematical curve that describes a smooth repetitive oscillation. It contains no overtones so sounds very "pure".
Customize the sine wave further by selecting the frequency, beep factor, duration you want, channel and sample rate.
What are the different sound colours?
- White noise is that which has the greatest ability to mask other sounds, as it has similar energy at all frequency levels. White noise sounds similar to the static of an analog TV, like a whirring fan, radio static or a radio station that has stopped broadcasting. White noise has uniform power distribution and equal energy across all sound frequencies.
- Brown noise sounds like strong waterfalls, low roaring, and thunder. It has more energy at the lower frequencies and if you have a good speaker system with a subwoofer you should be able to really feel it.
- Pink noise upper sound frequencies don't fall off as fast as they do with brown noise, so you'll get a little more punch. The most interesting thing about pink noise is it's found in almost all electronic devices (known as flicker noise) and even in biological systems. Pink noise sounds like rustling leaves, steady rain, and wind.
- Blue and violet noise are the opposites of pink and brown noise, respectively, and sound like spraying water from a garden hose. It has more energy at the higher frequencies which means more treble and less bass. Blue noise sounds like a high-pitched hiss of water. Violet/Purple noise is basically higher piched blue noise.
White Noise Generator has many uses and benefits:
- Hearing Test: What is the lowest/highest frequency you can hear in each ear?
- Tuning Instruments: Does your top guitar string match Low E at 440 Hz?
- Science Experiments: What is the resonant frequency of your wine glass?
- Audio System Test: What frequencies does your subwoofer support?
- Helps you sleep by blocking distractions
- Pacifies fussy and crying babies
- Relaxes and reduces stress
- Increases focus while enhancing privacy
- Soothes headaches and migraines
- Masks tinnitus (ringing of the ears)
