SemtPati mobile application enables animal lovers and volunteers who carry out volunteer activities for street animals in different neighborhoods of Istanbul to be aware of each other and come together. Through the application, it is aimed to make widespread and effective adoption, to register stray animals and to determine their needs, and to support the data-based decision-making processes of local governments.

With the SemtPati Mobile application, an effective coordination for the care of stray animals is ensured between Istanbul Volunteers, animal lovers and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

In the "Neighborhood Residents" section, managed with the support of Istanbul Volunteers, it is aimed to map the stray dogs of the entire city, neighborhood by neighborhood, by recording the physical characteristics, health and nutrition information, locations and photos of stray dogs in the application. Application users can easily follow the information about the dogs they live with in their neighborhoods without the application. This database created is stored and controlled by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

Through the application, users can view the dogs suitable for adoption in temporary care homes of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and start the dog adoption process by filling out the application form. With the content in the application, you can access information on many subjects ranging from the adoption process to animal care and health routines, from correct and safe communication methods with animals to studies carried out within the scope of IMM Veterinary Services. They can report their questions, requests and suggestions regarding stray animals by connecting directly to the ALO 153 Solution Center line from within the application.
