The story begins in Rider's village.
Three childhood friends, the main character, Lilia, and Shval find beautiful and shining eggs in the forest.
Despite the game of Rider's Ritual, "Gold Ritual", the monsters hatch from the eggs.

The three call it Reoleus.
The villagers can't hide their surprise for hatching Otomon without a bond stone.
There is a plague of what is called the Black Evil.
The damage will not only be village, but also leave a big scar in the heart of Shval and Lilia.
A Year after the Plague...
The village chief is awarded a bond stone, and the hero is a rider.
To fulfill his purpose, Shval leaves the village, and Lilia also decides to go on a different path from the riders, and sets off.
