Thereās no shortage of racing games for Android devices, and while the mobile racing game scene is currently dominated by the likes of the Asphalt series, it looks like competing titles like EAās Need for Speed franchise isnāt ready to hand over the throne just yet.
Unveiled a few days ago, EAās latest NFS game ā aptly titled āNeed for Speed Mobileā ā is currently available on the Google Play Store for early access. One big caveat however is that the game is currently exclusive for users in Australia only. Thereās no word yet on when it will be released for more regions, but we imagine it shouldnāt be too long now.
What makes this new entry to the NFS franchise is its open-world nature, meaning players will be able to roam streets in a large in-game map more freely (think titles like Burnout Paradise). The game will still have free-to-play elements such as loot boxes and such, which isnāt uncommon to see on most mobile titles these days, especially games from EA.
In any case, players looking forward to try out Need for Speed Mobile should keep an eye out for further developments, especially regarding the gameās release date.
